The Hype Factory is a Creative Production company based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. We work with a mixed range of clients, from small businesses to international corporations, delivering engaging and thought-provoking content.
We are hiring a Studio Manager. This role will be responsible for day-to-day project management of all projects which include video production, photography & motion graphics.
This role is for someone who loves organisation, strives in a fast paced environment and can handle the pressure of handling multiple video productions. It’s for someone who wants to join a team of creatives in an ever-evolving and growing company and assist our team in creating truly unique and exciting projects.
Each day will be different, from meeting new clients, and managing the studio schedule, to helping find locations, creating call sheets and looking after project finances. The Studio Manager won’t just be a project manager. As a small team, we will look to you to coordinate and submit quotations for new projects, field new enquiries and collate client feedback on completed work.
You will be involved in all aspects of our productions, including organising locations, managing freelancers, and booking equipment when required..
The role will involve:
Being the most organised person in the room - our team will look to you when everything is going a bit crazy!
Managing project lifespans, such as meeting with clients, briefing staff, sourcing external freelancers, actors, locations etc as needed.
Bringing new life to our client relationships, both stand alone projects and our monthly retainers.
Managing new enquiries, and producing and submitting quotations
Submitting & following up invoices for completed projects
Monitoring and improving the team's workflow - we want you to bring your experience to our studio by developing new systems, improving workflows and helping productivity increase.
Essential Criteria:
A minimum of 3 years of project management experience ( experience in a creative field is highly preferred but not mandatory )
A proactive and a flexible individual who has a good eye for detail, a team player and has an ability to work calmly under pressure
Comfortable working with a mixture of strong personalities and be confident at presenting and running meetings
Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Ability to work flexible hours when required including weekends and evenings
Strong word processing and spreadsheet skills
Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
Strong organisational ability
