ACCOUNT MANAGER / PRODUCER

Account Manager / Producer
Based in Belfast
Permanent

The Hype Factory is a Creative Production company based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. We work with a wide range of clients, from ambitious start-ups to international brands, delivering engaging and thought-provoking video, photography and motion content.

We are hiring an Account Manager / Producer to oversee productions and manage client relationships. This role has previously been called Studio Manager, but in reality it’s more about project delivery and client service than day-to-day office admin.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on organisation, enjoys working in a fast-paced creative environment, and can confidently handle multiple productions at once. You will be both the steady hand for our team and the friendly face for our clients.

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing projects end-to-end, from client meetings and internal briefings to delivery.

  • Scheduling the studio workload and overseeing timelines across video, photo, and motion projects.

  • Producing shoots including creating call sheets, booking crew, sourcing locations, and managing logistics.

  • Acting as the main point of contact for clients and building strong relationships across both one-off projects and long-term retainers.

  • Handling new enquiries and preparing quotations.

  • Overseeing project budgets, raising invoices, and following up on payments.

  • Coordinating freelancers, actors, and suppliers as needed.

  • Improving workflow and systems to keep the studio efficient and productive.

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum of 3 years of project management experience. Experience in a creative or production environment is strongly preferred.

  • Proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented.

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.

  • Comfortable leading meetings and working with a wide range of personalities.

  • Strong skills in Word, Excel/Sheets, and general digital tools.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends when production demands it.

What we offer

  • Competitive salary (based on experience).

  • Paid overtime (time and a half).

  • Contributory pension scheme.

  • Flexible working hours (typical 10am–6pm with 1 hour lunch).

  • Relaxed, creative studio environment.

  • On-site parking.

  • Free coffee, tea, and Spotify account.
